James Louis Thomason, 79, of Jacksonville passed away Friday, March 21, 2025. He was born to the late Alvin D. and Katie Irene Smith Thomason October 21, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Holmes. He was a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and served decades in the ministry. In his spare time, he enjoyed Razorbacks and old television sitcoms.

Left to cherish the memory of James are his two sons, Joseph Thomason and Daniel Thomason; one granddaughter, Oceanna Thomason; and one sister, Wanda Thomas.

A memorial service for James will be 11:00am Saturday March 29, 2025 at Graves Memorial Baptist Church 4617 Oak Grove Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72118. Visitation will begin at 10:30am.
