Obituary

James Timothy "Jim" Bush, age 68, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away July 1, 2025. He was born in Bossier City, Louisiana on August 15, 1956 to the late James Clifton and Juanita (Moreau) Bush. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Alan Bush.

Jim found joy in a variety of hobbies throughout his life. A devoted war history enthusiast, he spent countless hours exploring the stories, events, and people that shaped the past. His appreciation for music was equally strong, serving as both a source of inspiration and comfort.

A self-taught computer guru, Jim approached technology with the same passion and determination that defined all his interests. Whether troubleshooting a complex issue or exploring a new digital frontier, he embraced each challenge with focus and fascination.

He lived life on his own terms, finding joy in quiet moments and personal reflection. When something captured his interest, he immersed himself completely—researching, learning, and savoring every detail. His deep dives into new passions made him a wealth of knowledge.

He is survived by his brother, Steven Bush; daughters, Jessica (Michael) Tatum and Cristy Duran; grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Hailey, Alex, Audry, Alice, and Gracie; six great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family and friends.

There will be a funeral service at 10:00AM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00PM on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the funeral home.
