Janice P. Stringfellow McGough, age 86, of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020.  She was born January 7, 1934 in Calhoun County, Arkansas to the late Joe Riley and Nellie Stringfellow.  Janice was married to the love of her life, James "Frog" McGough for 55 years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. McGough; son, Joe McGough; brothers, Grady Stringfellow and Ben Stringfellow; and sisters, Holla Mae Moore, Irma Brecht, Betty Jo Roland, Clovis Gustafson.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Gaye) McGough; daughter-in-law, Ann McGough; brother, Gene (Jean) Stringfellow; grandchildren, Jody (Joyce) Tillery, Pamela (Charles) Carter, Trish (Ray) Stapler, Amanda (Frank) Ventura, Jay (Stacey) McGough, Greg (Anissa) McGough; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Calion Baptist Church in Calion. Interment will follow at Champagnolle Cemetery in El Dorado.  Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Memorials may be made to Calion Baptist Church, P.O.
