Jannette D. Fauntleroy, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born March 14, 1937, in New Port News, Virginia. Jannette is a woman of enduring strength and individuality. Her journey through life has been marked by resilience, determination, and a distinct spirit that has left an impact on those who know her.

Jannette is survived by two children, AnTony Hatcher and Zaquette Fauntleroy-Everett, who have been shaped by her influence. Jannette is also the proud grandmother of three and great-grandmother to six, cherishing her growing family and the legacy they carry forward. Jannette is also survived by her devoted brother, Horace Dunn, whose connection with her reflects a bond of family that stands the test of time.

Though her relationships have been complex, Jannette's family recognizes the lessons she has imparted and the role she has played in their lives. Her spirit has been a unique and integral part of their shared story, one that is filled with challenges, growth, and love in its own way.

A Memorial Service will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
