It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jeffrey Alan Pollock, who departed this world on July 5th, 2023. He was born on June 26th, 1972 in Jacksonville, AR to the late John and Barbara Pollock. He graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1990, and in 1998 he began working for the United States Postal Service. While there, he built a 25-year career and saw many coworkers become lifelong friends. In his 51 years of life, he touched countless hearts with his unwavering generosity, indomitable resilience, and sharp sense of humor.

Jeff's family and friends will miss both his quick humor and his deep conversations.  He was always willing to delve deeper into a topic and probe an argument to insightful depths.  His quick wit and astute observations could cut to the heart of the matter and provide thoughtful advice.  He will be remembered with tears in the coming days, but smiles and laughter in the years that follow.

Jeff is survived by his siblings John (Lesley) Pollock, Mary (Julian) Meyers, Cindy (Mike) Nichols, Laura (Ron) Bostick, and Daniel (Elizabeth) Pollock; 16 nieces and nephews; as well as many extended family and beloved friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2023 also at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Jeffery will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
