Jerome Edwin Yetmar, 89, of Jacksonville passed away May 21, 2022. He was born October 21, 1932 in Moorland, Iowa to the late Otto and Anna (Lennon) Yetmar. In addition to his parents, Jerome was welcomed into Heaven by his wife, Zadonna Mae Yetmar; and siblings, Robert Yetmar, and Georgiann Ellis.

Jerome worked at the grain elevator in Clare, Iowa. He served in and retired from the United States Air Force, and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He went on to also retire from a career with Pulaski County Special School District. Jerome enjoyed bowling with his wife, taking daily walks, and collecting and repairing clocks.

Those left to cherish the memories of Jerome include his children, Terry (Patricia) Yetmar, Ann (Billy) Huebner, and Lori (Thomas) Smith; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Hope Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior, 9:00 a.m., at the church. Jerome will be laid to rest in Greenfield Township Cemetery in Knierim, Iowa. Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church in Jerome's memory.
