Jerry Don Roles, 79, passed away October 6, 2026. He was born May 5, 1947 in Waco, Texas to the late John Dallas and Edna (Huseman) Roles. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son in law, Billy Boswell.

MSgt (Ret) Jerry Roles was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He served his country in the Air Force for 22 years. He was active in the community of Jacksonville and Cabot for over 30 years. An avid golfer you could find him at any local golf course almost daily after he retired.

He was a straight shooter, loved to joke and laugh, and would help anyone that needed it. There are so many people that were touched by his kindness, too many to list here however, know that if Jerry was part of your life in anyway he benefited from it more than you will ever know.

Left to cherish Jerry’s memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Gail Ann Roles; children, Anthony (Jamie) Roles, Katryna Boswell, and Jonathan (Heather) Taylor; grandchildren, Alexandria (Chance) Taylor, Peyton (Tyler) James, Caleb Roles, Owen Taylor, Cerenity Dailey, DJ Boswell, and Dawson Boswell; great grandchildren, Scarlett, Landrey, and Maverick; and sister, Patricia (Bob) Dow.

A memorial service with military honors will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home at 1504 N. JP Wright Loop Rd. Jacksonville, Arkansas.
