Joan Marie Meyer, 66, of Jacksonville passed from this life on March 8, 2025. She was born July 16, 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and adopted at that time by the late Duane and Therese (Murphy) Meyer. Ms. Meyer was a longtime active member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville. Joan spent many years working with and serving at Pathfinders, a cause she always held near and dear to her heart. She enjoyed spending time at the Jacksonville Senior Center where she was active in Beanbag Baseball, Adult Coloring Class, Sign Language and Book Club. In her earlier years, Joan enjoyed bowling.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Timothy Meyer and wife Cindy; nephews, Adam Meyer, Timothy Meyer Jr. and Jonathan Meyer. Other survivors include great niece, Brielynn Lilly; great nephew Anthony Meyer; caregiver mother, Virginia Miller; many extended family in Wisconsin and Minnesota; along with her Bible Class; and host of very special friends and church family.

Rosary service will be 12:00pm, Friday, March 14, 2025 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 2304 McArthur Drive, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow beginning at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm before the Rosary at the church.
