Joan Rose Taggart, 87, of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away June 20, 2025. She was born on November 5,1937 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Wesley and Gertrude (Ebert) Goldrich.

Joan was devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by, her loving husband, Lonnie Taggart; and sister, Gertrude Haley.

She is survived by children, Deborah (Taggart) Garrett, of Sheridan, Arkansas, Renee Taggart, of Benton, Arkansas, and Tim Taggart, of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Lonnie (Shellie) Taggart, D.J. (Terri) Garrett, and Landon (Jade) Taggart; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Serenity, Nathan (Keeleigh), and John; and a host of other family and friends who loved her dearly.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Forrest Hills Memorial Park, 10200 AR-5, Alexander, Arkansas.
