JoAnn L. Thornburg, 87, of Cabot passed away on December 21, 2022. She was born May 17, 1935 in Norwalk, Iowa to the late Frank and Jennie Graham. In addition to her parents, JoAnn was welcomed into Heaven by her husband of fifty-one years, Merl; three brothers; and four sisters.

JoAnn will be missed for her sweet and loving personality. She was a wonderful mother, wife, friend to all, and always had a smile on her face. JoAnn enjoyed to keep herself busy with volunteer work, especially at her beloved church, St. Jude the Apostle's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Janie Smith of Cabot, and Jolene Hobbs (Vince Marchese) of Sherwood; granddaughter, Shawna (James) Nalley of South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Kendall and Carter; sister, Teresa; brother, Jim (Rose); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2022 at St. Jude the Apostle's Catholic Church in Jacksonville.
