John Thomas Ross Morrison, 50, of Lonoke passed away on August 29, 2021. He was born September 27, 1970 in Oceanside, California to the late Donald Lee Morrison Sr. and Margaret Kay (Johnson) Pruett.

John was a simple man with a huge heart and forgiving soul. He worked on the open road as a truck driver and in his spare time enjoyed playing pool and poker, especially Texas hold'em. He also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, who he treated as his own children. John was one-of-a-kind and will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know him.

Those left to cherish the memory of John include his siblings, Donald Lee (Linda) Morrison Jr., Michael Patrick (Ricky Bailey) Morrison, Max Michael Pruett Jr., Terri Delp, Sherri (Richard) Pettigrew, and Kerri Baudin; father, Max Pruett Sr.; aunts, Judy Wilkerson and Eva (Jack) Rushing; uncle, Sonny (Wanda) Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

John specifically requested that his service be a celebration of the life he lived. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 6, 2021 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. A visitation will be the evening prior, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the funeral home. John will be laid to rest with his mother, Margaret Kay Pruett and aunt, Patricia LaRue, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
