Johnnie Wayne Young, 80, of Jacksonville passed away May 18, 2023. He was born September 16, 1942 in Judsonia, Arkansas to the late Earl and Lucy (Wicoff) Young. In addition to his parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Aaron Heslep; and sisters, Nadine Kunsemiller, and Linda Hiett, Fern Smith.

Those left to cherish the memory of Johnnie include his wife, Sandra Young; daughters, Paula Jordan, Phyllis Heslep, and Ann Williams; son, Michael Traylor; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Johnnie will be laid to rest following the service at White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy.
