Johnny Hugh Duke, 75, of Jacksonville passed away February 13, 2023. He was born September 25, 1947 in Hope, Arkansas to the late Harold and Joyce (Garrett) Duke. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his brothers, Jesse, Gerald, Bruce, and Winston Duke; and sisters, Peggy Burson and Cornelia Duke. Johnny proudly served his country for twenty-one years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He loved his country, his family, his Lord, and especially his little dog Chloe, who was always by his side.

Those left to cherish Johnny's memory include his wife, Linda Duke; children, Aletha Bush, John (Kristina) Duke, Matthew (Amanda) Duke, and Dalton Duke; brother, Joe Duke; seven grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior, Saturday, February 18, 2023 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
