Johnny Wayne McMaster, 77, of Jacksonville, passed away August 26, 2021. He was born September 30, 1943 in Okolona, Arkansas to the late Tom and Marie (Husky) McMaster. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Nina Smith and brothers, Billy and Tommy McMaster.

Johnny proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for over twenty-three years and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. In his spare time, Johnny enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.

Those left to cherish Johnny's memory include his wife, Linda McMaster; children, John Michael (Lisa) McMaster, Mark (Dong Ja) McMaster, Keri (Pat) Theiss and Casey (Sarah) Turner; siblings, Joyce Golden and Kenneth McMaster and eleven grandchildren.

Johnny's family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff at Arkansas Hospice.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the funeral home. Johnny will be laid to rest at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock immediately following the service on Wednesday.
