Jonas Blocker, 88, of Jacksonville passed away on December 7, 2020. He was born on September 18, 1932 to parents Jonas and Hazel (Hill) Blocker in Tallahassee, Florida.

In addition to his parents, Jonas is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Blocker; his daughter, Phoenix V. Blocker and grandson, Tony Blocker Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Carolyn Brewster of Jacksonville; sons, Tony J. Blocker Sr. of Jacksonville, and Jonas (Natikka) Hall of Tallahassee, Florida; god-daughter, Willie Mae Turner of Little Rock; as well as seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Elvin Jackson officiating.
