June Rose Binyon, 94, peacefully departed this life on December 3, 2023. She was born June 5, 1929 in Spokane, Washington to the late Maxwell and Constance Crosby. In addition to her parents, June was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Charles Wayne; children, Wes, Dwight (Linda), Retha, and Steve; and sister, Jean Kinsey.

June found her calling as a military wife, embracing the challenges and joys of the role. Her unwavering support extended beyond her family, as she became a pillar in the military wives club. June poured her heart into organizing events that uplifted spirits and boosted morale, creating a tight-knit community that felt like an extended family.

A woman of many talents, June's creativity knew no bounds. Her poetic wit became a treasured mainstay at retirement ceremonies and special events during her dedicated tenure with the State of Arkansas. June's clever verses added a touch of fun and laughter to many occasions, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of hearing them. June loved to sing and dance – and did so until her final days. June's graceful dance moves illuminated the room when the music played, creating an infectious, cheerful mood. Her talents were gifts that she generously shared, leaving a lasting impression on the hearts of those fortunate enough to experience them.

June Rose Binyon's departure leaves a void that can only be filled with the beautiful memories of her love, laughter, and boundless creative spirit. As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, let us remember her with gratitude for the joy she provided to so many and celebrate a well-lived life and a love that will transcend this world.

She is survived by children, Charles Binyon and Lisa Binyon Smith; grandchildren, (affectionately known to them as "Neen") Dana Gabrion, Johnathan Binyon, Jade (Matt) DeBusk, Justin Jones, and Ceiana Jones; and many friends she made over the years.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2023 at the funeral home. June will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
