Karen S.
Stevens
Dec 14, 1948 — Dec 4, 2021
Karen Stevens, loving wife and mother of two, passed away from this world and entered Heaven into the loving arms of Jesus Christ, our Lord. She was born December 14, 1948 in Webster Springs, West Virginia to the late Goodridge and Ava (George) Perrine. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Perrine, Sharon Schrader, Marsha Carpenter, Anita Cogar and Lawrence Perrine. She lived almost seventy-three years on Earth and will be celebrating her first Christmas in Heaven this year. On April 5, 1966, at the age of eighteen, Karen married the best man God had for her: Kenneth Stevens. God knew Mom would need a patient, faithful man of strong character that would love her completely. Since that wedding day, Karen went on an adventure for the next fifty-five years and eight months. Karen was known for her fighting spirit, determination, and love for her family.
Her beautiful spirit lives on in her loving husband, Kenneth; her two daughters, Ava Titsworth (the wise) with her husband, Russ Titsworth, and Pearl Jenkins (the defender of truth) with her husband Charley Jenkins; her three grandchildren that she loved deeply, Tomie Sue Sharpmack (the blessed) with her husband, Jeff Sharpmack, Carol Morris (the seeker of the flame of knowledge) with her husband, Chris Morris, and Joseph Titsworth (the one who shall add wisdom); her siblings, Judy Hamrick with her husband Paul Hamrick, Rodney Perrine, Ira Lee Perrine, and Creed Perrine; as well as a host of extended family and friends - we want to honor them although we cannot possibly list them all and express our gratitude for their prayers and the impact they have had on Karen.
A memorial service to celebrate Karen will be 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2021 at Maddox Road Baptist Church. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.
