Kathy Jean Dumond-Keefover, 60, of Jacksonville, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Kathy was born Friday, June 15, 1962 in Duval, Florida to the late James and Illa Jean Dumond. Kathy was a retired cardiac care nurse. She was very proud of her career. She valued her family more than anything. She said the reward for parenting was being a grandmother. Her grandchildren called her Yaya. She loved her fur babies, reading, art, movies, eating out, and a good mumu.

Kathy is survived  by her children, Jamie (Ricky) Platt and Chase (Jillian) Keefover; a sister, Joanna Dumond-Hansen (Terry); nieces Samantha, Shelbi, and Darby; her beloved grandchildren, Logan, Rilee Jean, Caylie and Lincoln, all of Jacksonville; as well as a number of extended family and friends.
