Kay (Keiko) Shimabukuro Johns of Jacksonville, AR passed away peacefully on July 2, 2020.  She was born December 12, 1948 in Okinawa, Japan.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Johns; her sister, Teruko; her father, Chosei and her mother, Shizu.

She is survived by her two sons, Mike Johns (Trina) and Doug Johns; she also leaves behind six grandchildren, Brittanie Wallace (Taylor), Kyle Johns, Peyton Johns, Riley Johns (Allison), Dylan Johns and Aiden Johns; two great-grandchildren, Adalee Wallace and Atlas Johns; sister, Mitzuko and brothers, Hiroshi and Hideo.

Kay was a great friend to those who knew her and a joy to those who she encountered.  She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed every day she had on this earth.  She will be deeply missed.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Moore's Funeral Home in Jacksonville, AR.  Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 2:30 p.m.  She will be cremated and will be interred with her husband, Albert, at Canaan Cemetery in Marshall, AR at a later time with family.  Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home,  (501) 982-2136.
