Keith Wayne Comer, age 93, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away at home on June 11, 2026. He was born on March 24, 1933 in Blairstown, Missouri to the late William and Lessie Comer.

Keith was a humble servant of God who faithfully served as an elder in his church. Through his leadership of a Bible study home group, he shared a lifetime of wisdom and a deep knowledge of Scripture. He cared deeply for others, and his discipleship guided many people into a closerwalk with Christ throughout the years. His steadfast faith was evident not only in his words but in the way he lived his life each day.

Professionally, Keith worked as an insurance auditor for Fireman's Fund Insurance, where he dedicated 30 years of service before retiring. His commitment to serving others extended beyond his career. He served as both a board member and chairman of the board for the North Pulaski Volunteer Fire Department, helping strengthen and support the community he loved.

Keith's passion for baseball led him to become actively involved in the Jacksonville youth baseball leagues. As a coach, he invested countless hours in young athletes, teaching not only the fundamentals of the game but also lessons in character, teamwork, and perseverance. The lives he touched on and off the field remain part of his enduring legacy.

An avid outdoorsman, Keith enjoyed hunting and fishing, finding peace and joy in God's creation. Yet among his greatest pleasures was spending time with family. He especially loved gathering around the table to play games, creating memories filled with laughter and friendly competition. This love for family traditions was passed down to his children, grandchildren, and generations to follow.

Keith will be remembered for his unwavering faith, servant's heart, quiet wisdom, and the love he shared so freely with his family, friends, church, and community. His influence will continue to be felt in the many lives he touched and the enduring example he leaves behind.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Sallie Elizabeth "Beth" Comer; children, Barbara Ann Comer, Robert Wayne Comer, both of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Elizabeth Jean "Jeanie" Hawkins, of Boone, North Carolina; half-sister, Shirley Lea Raynor, of Tuscan, Arizona; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

There will be a funeral service at 10:00a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas, with entombment to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 9:00a.m. at the funeral home.
