Larry Franklin Borden, age 77, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. He was a retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant, Vietnam Veteran, and a retired employee of the United States Postal Service. Larry was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Mary and Lewis Borden; father, Harry Joyce; and brother-in-law, Bill Metz.

Larry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kang Sun Borden of Jacksonville; two daughters, Mary Borden of Seattle, Washington, and Jaime Harness and husband Hoyt of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Rosalie Borden, Tessa Stuckey and husband Nick, Hunter Harness and wife Tori, and Mallory Harness; siblings, Kathy Metz of St. Mary's, Ohio, and Janet Cooper and husband Gary of Pedro, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Korean First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, and interment with military honors will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
