Larry Lee Ingram, 89, of Jacksonville, departed this life on October 1, 2022. He was born April 14, 1933 in Mount Union, Pennsylvania to the late James and Freda (Grove) Ingram. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hester (Smith) Ingram; and sister, Lucretia Copenhaver.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty-seven years before retiring at Little Rock Air Force Base. After his retirement, Larry worked as a Security Supervisor for the Arkansas Children's Hospital for seventeen years while volunteering at the Care Channel in Jacksonville. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Debra Oliver, Steven (Ruth) Ingram, and Brian Ingram; niece, Brenda Worst; nephew, Jay Copenhaver; cousin, Michael Grove; sister-in-law, Twila Smith; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 9:45 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the funeral home. Larry will be laid to rest at Rest Hills Memorial Park following the service. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.
