Laura Ann Stanford, 59, of Sherwood, passed away on January 28, 2021. She was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on November 2, 1961 to parents Shirley and Lloyd Dorris. Laura married the love of her life, John Stanford, on March 29, 1987 and together they raised three children. Laura graduated from Baptist School of Nursing and earned her RN diploma in 1994. She worked as a nurse for Baptist Health for over 29 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed camping. Laura's favorite place to visit was anywhere with a beach.

Laura was preceded in death by her father and brother, Lloyd Jr.

Laura is survived by her husband, John Stanford; son, Brandon (Shannon); daughters, Kelliann, and Danielle; grandchildren, Tucker and Brianna; sisters, Kathy, Brenda and Shelia; and many nieces and nephews.

Laura's celebration of life will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at That.Church (901 E. Kiehl Ave, Sherwood, AR, 72120). Memorial gifts in Laura's memory can be made to Arkansas Cancer Society, (2222 Cottondale Lane, Suite #310, Little Rock, AR 72202).
