Lillian Laverne Tucker, of Jacksonville, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023. She was born November 25, 1942 to the late Lillian and Irving Taylor in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Lillian had a proud thirty-one year career in Civil Service for the United States Air Force, where she retired as a GS-11. She was also a devout member of the North Hills Baptist Church in North Little Rock.

Lillian is survived by her beloved husband, Wayne Tucker; her son, Jeff (Melanie) Martin of Port St. Joe, Florida; step-son, Kenny Tucker of Cabot; two granddaughters, Lillian and Kaelyn Martin; two grandsons, Brandon and Taylor Martin; sister, Jeannie Van Winkle of Independence, Missouri; brother, Bill Taylor of Rogers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 9:00 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2023 at North Hills Baptist Church. Lillian will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 8:00 – 9:00 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the church.
