Linda Mae
Williams
Sep 5, 1950 — Jul 19, 2025
Mayflower
Linda Mae Williams, 74, of Mayflower went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 19, 2025 at her home. She was born September 5, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Johnny and Naomi Shelton. Mrs. Williams was an active and devoted member of First Baptist Church of Mayflower for twenty-two years. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, painting, fishing and hunting. Linda also loved animals and often helped her daughter in her animal rescue work, helping take care of many exotic animals and wildlife of the years. She loved her church and her family but was always happiest spending time and sharing her hobbies with her granddaughter. Linda was of Native American decent and was proud of her heritage. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Left to carry on her legacy are her loving and devoted husband of fifty-seven years, Clarence Williams; children, Tracy Wilson-Williams of Hot Springs, Lance (Lauren Filat) Williams of Bryant; and granddaughter, Ashleigh Williams. Other survivors include siblings, Johnny Shelton (Linda) of Pine Bluff, Mildred (David) Thomason of Vilonia and Tina (David) Bowman of North Little Rock along with a host of extended family and many loved friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00am, Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Mayflower. Interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
