Lloyd James Boswell, age 95, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away June 22, 2025. He was born May 3, 1930 in Watonga, Oklahoma to the late Marion and Agnes (Cherry) Boswell.

Lloyd served his country with honor as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army, including tours of duty in Vietnam and Korea. His military service was a source of deep pride, and he carried the values of discipline, integrity, and selflessness throughout his life.

After retiring from the Army, he remained active and engaged in the world around him. He found joy in life's simple pleasures—especially long walks and tending to his yard. Always friendly and approachable, he had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued.

A longtime member of Jacksonville Christian Church, he found deep joy and purpose in worship, fellowship, and serving others through the church community. He also loved volunteering at the Care Channel, where he would offer a helping hand doing anything and everything he could to help those who needing the assistance.

Known for his generous spirit and kind heart, Lloyd gave freely of his time and support to those in need. His compassion touched many lives, and his legacy of kindness will not be forgotten.

He was a proud veteran, beloved family member, and compassionate friend.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Mae Boswell; children, James, Michael, and Patricia; grandson, Jake Fitzhugh; son-in-law, Jack Fitzhugh; and all of his siblings.

He is survived by his daughters, Pam Fitzhugh, Sandy (Eddie) Keithly, and Kim (Ron) Forbes; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.

A graveside memorial service with full military honors will be at 10:00AM on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Grace Chapel at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
