Lonnie Wayne Thornton, 82, of North Little Rock passed from this life on March 26, 2025. He was born December 29, 1942 in McCrory, Arkansas to the late Walter Ray and Mamie Louise (Sumler) Thornton. Mr. Thornton married Mary Katherine Pritchard on December 10, 1966 in Hammond, Indiana, a union that lasted fifty-eight years. Mr. Thornton was a thirty-second degree mason. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Mary Katherine Thornton; son, Michael Wayne Thornton of Little Rock; sisters, Ann Lucas and husband Curtis of Cabot, Brenda Bumpas and husband Jim of Missouri; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be private.
