Lucille Hendrickson Dennis, age 92 of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in Sherwood, Arkansas. She was born January 27, 1931 in Mount Vernon, Arkansas to the late Herbert and Beatrice Hackler Hendrickson. She was married to Johnnie Dennis, who preceded her in death in 2011. Mrs. Dennis was employed with J.C. Penny for over 30 years as a sales associate. She retired in 2004. Mrs. Dennis was a member of Stanfill Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Vernelle Maples, Aline Martin and Arlene Hendrickson; brother, Verlon Hendrickson.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Lonnie Lee and Tracy Lynn Dennis of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Jonathan Lee (Bailie) Dennis of Ruther Glen, Virginia, Jordan Lynn (Josh) Dennis of Omaha, Nebraska, Justin Matthew (Kaylan) Dennis of Cabot; two great grandchildren, Karter Lee Dennis, Teagan Ashley Dennis and on the way Denver Dennis; two sisters, Margarette Nixon and Mary Lois Copeland, both of Jacksonville.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Stanfill Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at the funeral home.
