Lynden Jewell Forester, 92, of Jacksonville passed away November 28, 2022. He was born February 20, 1930 in Lawrence, Kansas to the late Jewell Lynden and Blanche Veria Forester. In addition to his parents, Lynden was welcomed into Heaven by his wife, Annie M. Forester; son, Lyn Roy Forester; daughter, Linda Ann Gray; and brother, Jerry Forester.

Lynden proudly served his country for four years in the Navy, and twenty-two years in the Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He was in the 61 ^st and 91 ^st Air Command and served in both the Korean and Vietnam War. Lynden was a Mason, Scottish Rite Freemason and Shriner, and was of the Baptist faith. In his spare time, Lynden enjoyed bowling, with one of his proudest achievements being the opportunity to compete in the Championship Bowling Tournament in Las Vegas.  Above all else, Lynden loved his children, grandchildren, and wife until the day he died.

Those left to cherish the memory of Lynden include his children, Lyn (Cindy) Forester of Jacksonville, Leilani (David) Richardson of North Little Rock, Lisa Hayner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Lawrence (Kim) Forester of Jacksonville, and Lori (Kelley) Smiley of Jacksonville; son-in-law, Richard Gray of Little Rock; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Adkins of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and longtime friend, Janet Oldham.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
