Mabel Louise Lucas, 84, of Jacksonville, passed away September 8, 2020. She was born March 8, 1936 to parents Johnny and Alvie (Guinn) Randolph in Marked Tree, Arkansas.

If you knew Mabel, you'd be reminded of her anytime you saw a classic red 1957 Chevy, her favorite car. She had a firecracker personality and loved to dance and listen to Elvis Presley. Mabel was an Air Force wife, your typical "Sports Mom" - cheering on her son at his baseball games; and later in life, a wonderfully caring Nana to her grandchildren who she absolutely adored.

In addition to her parents, Mabel was welcomed into Heaven by her brothers, James and Pete Randolph and her sister, Opal Randolph.

She is survived by her children, Donnie Lucas and Debra (Stanley) Manning; brother, Donald Randolph; sister, Shirley Barron; grandchildren, Luke (Jennifer) Manning, Lindsey (Lance) Stroud, Brandon Topping, Allen Bo Newman, Aleshia and Alexis Lucas; great-grandchildren, Mason Stroud, Jacquelina, Jayden, and Saviano Manning, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family would like to share their deepest gratitude and thanks to the staff at Beebe Retirement Center for the wonderful care of their precious Mabel. Memorials in Mabel's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Jacksonville Animal Shelter.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Mabel will be cremated after the visitation and a memorial service at her final resting place in Chapel Hill Memorial Park will be scheduled at a later date.  Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 501-982-2136.
