Maggie Nell Wilhite Hardin Garrett, 98, of Cabot went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 20, 2024, only a few weeks from her 99th birthday. She was born November 6, 1925 in England, Arkansas to the late O.E. and Ola F. (Andrews) Wilhite. Mrs. Garrett was the epitome of a kindhearted Christian woman. She worked hard to raise five children, never met a stranger and would give anything she had to help someone in need. She was the longtime owner of the Baseline Dairy Bar. Until her health would no longer allow her to, she attended New Life Church in Cabot. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Leslie Hardin and Claude Garrett; son, Leslie Hardin Jr., grandsons, Paul Leslie Jones and Todd Clark; great grandson, Samuel Bocanegra; siblings, O.J. Wilhite, James Wilhite, Charles Wilhite, Addie Hall, Alta Aaron, Fern Fitzgerald and Bill Wilhite.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Linda (Roy) Wasson of Texarkana, Sheila (Dale) Bulter of Greenbrier, Patsy Smtih of Texarkana, Sherry (Bruce) Woosley of Cabot, Joanie (Larry) Sutton of Benton, Lynn (Terry) Seward of Indiana, eleven grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren. Other survivors include a sister Scottie (Johnny) Ballard along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Friday, October 25, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodson Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 1:00pm.

Memorials in Mrs. Garrett's memory may be made to a charity of your choosing.
