Margaret Alice (Brents) Merrick, 93, passed away May 19, 2021 in Huntsville, Alabama. She was born February 23, 1928 in Cleveland, Arkansas to the late Logan "Hutto" and Helen (Carlisle) Brents. In addition to her parents, Margaret will be welcomed into her Heavenly Home by her husband of sixty years, Arthur Merrick; daughter, Captain Linda Lynn Merrick (USAF-Retired) and son, Bruce (Bobbie) Merrick.

The "anchor held"; there is no more suffering or sorrow. Margaret is healed and all tears are gone. Great Nana will be greatly missed. The music reminds us of her, but now she is listening to Heaven's refrain.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Maj. Dan Rausch, USAF-Retired) Rausch; grandchildren, Andrew Merrick, Dannette (Rev. Wade) Cox, Micah (Mark) Whiteman and Brittany (Rev. Ryan) Epps; great-grandchildren, Michaela and Courtney Cox, Hannah, Aaron and Emma Whiteman, Elisha and Natalie Epps and her dear friend, Barbara Rausch.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Margaret will be laid to rest immediately following the visitation at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.
