Margaret "Peggy" Pearson, age 88, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on September 27, 2020.  She was born January 1, 1932 in Lonoke, Arkansas to Charles "Snookum" and Nona Singleton Hamm.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Vickie Lynn; infant twin sons and three brothers, Charles "Buddy" Hamm, Noel Hamm and Billy Ray Hamm.

She is survived by her children, Catherine (Gary) Harris, Steve (Lisa) Horton, Douglas (Lory) Horton, Tammy (Gary) Shaw and Karen (Bryan) Nill; niece, Rene Whittenburg; nephew, Noel Hamm, Jr.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She loved her God, family, friends and Elvis.  Peggy enjoyed playing the penny slot machines, bingo, watching old movies, coloring and seeing her grandbabies and great-grandbabies.  Everyone who knew her would tell you she would give the shirt off her back to help others.

Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be private.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Cabot Nursing and Rehab for their care and compassion.  Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home,  (501) 982-2136.
