Margaret Christine Thomas, 83, of Jacksonville passed away May 29, 2022. She was born May 14, 1939 in Coal Hill, Arkansas to the late Oral D. Phelps and Genora Allen-Phelps. Margaret was raised in the Morrilton Southern Christian Home until she graduated in 1958. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, SSgt. Herman Thomas (USAF); son, Roger Thomas; granddaughter, Emily Mayberry; nine brothers; two step-brothers; and two step-sisters.
Those left to cherish the memories of Margaret include her children, Kathy Mayberry and Rickey (Terie) Thomas; sister-in-laws, Wynema Freeman and Neoma Thomas; grandchild, Madison Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Averille O'Neal, Audrick O'Neal, and Scarlett Thomas.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2022 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior, 12:00 p.m., at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.
