Mari Elizabeth Frey, age 52, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on February 18, 2026. She was born on May 1, 1973 in Baltimore, Maryland to Joseph and Betty Frey. Mari truly had a heart of gold and quietly performed countless acts of kindness without ever seeking recognition. She loved her family deeply and was actively involved in her church community. Mari had a special love for children and animals, and she shared a particularly close bond with her nieces, often attending painting and ceramic events with them. An avid crafter, she found great joy in creating and generously giving her time and talents through charitable events. Her life was a beautiful testimony of quiet faith, servant-hearted love, and devotion to both her family and her Lord. She was preceded in death by her mom, Betty Frey; grandparents, Violet and Frank Frey and Luther and Bitha Clark; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her dad, Joseph Frey, Jr.; siblings, Missy (Freddie) Riley, and Greg (Lisa) Frey; nieces, who she loved dearly, Annabella and Abigail; aunts, Gladys Davis, and Violet (Dennis) Kimitt; and a host of extended family and cherished friends, including her beloved church family.

Funeral services will be 2:00p.m., Friday, February 27, 2026 at Hope Lutheran Church, 1904 McArthur Dr, Jacksonville, Arkansas, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the church.

Mari loved flowers; however, donations may also be made to Hope Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
