Maria de Carmen Sumpter, 94, of Jacksonville, passed away May 24, 2022. She was born December 14, 1927 in Madrid, Spain to the late Thomas Astilleros and Maria Domingo Iglesias. In addition to her parents, Maria was preceded in death by her daughter, Carmen Sumpter.

Those left to cherish Maria's memory include her beloved husband, William "Bill' Sumpter and daughter Margarita Astilleros Domingo.
