Mary Ruth Doss, 81, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away November 15, 2025. She was born on September 24, 1944 in Clarendon, Arkansas to the late Delbert and Nellie (Treadway) Scroggins.

Mary faithfully served her community for 35 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She later carried that same care and dedication into her second career as a real estate agent.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Cindy Marie Watson; granddaughters, Nellie, and Casandra; and siblings, Billy Roy, Christine, Carole, Nancy, and Connie.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Norris Doss; son, James Lee (Sandra) Humble, Sr.; grandchildren, B.J. Humble, Joey Ingle, James Humble, Jr., Timothy (Jennifer) Humble, Raylee Kay Humble; 4 great-grandkids; and sister, Louise.

A graveside service will be at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Oakland Cemetery, 34-42 E Brinkley St, DeValls Bluff, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
