Mary Elizabeth Nowlin, 72 of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away September 5, 2022. She was born July 20, 1950 in Tyronza, Arkansas to the late Joseph and Hattie Mae Crawford. Mary loved working outside in her yard and cooking big meals for her family gatherings, but above all loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Freda King and Faye Owens; brothers, J.D Crawford and Earl Ates; as well as a host of step-siblings. Those left to cherish Mary's memory include her beloved husband, James Nowlin; children, Carla (Stephen) Hughes, Michael (Sherri) Nowlin, Billy (Whitney) Nowlin, and adopted son Dale Byrd; sister, Marilyn Rixse; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior to the service, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the funeral home.
