Mary Maxine Ratliff, 94, of Sherwood passed away June 8, 2026. She was born July 1, 1931 in Fountain Hill, Arkansas to the late Edmond Herman and Willie B. Trantham High. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Ratliff; step-daughter, Linda; son, Lewis Ratliff; and granddaughter, Kera Buchanan.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Ratliff; step-daughter, Brenda Ratliff; grandchildren, Tara (Joseph) Bartsch, Tianna (Steven) Crowder, Kyle Ratliff, and Kayla Clement; niece, Misty St. Clair; caregivers and good friends, Janette and Cara Mae; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Moores Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
