Mary Joe Wisdom, age 83, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on January 18, 2026. She was born on January 4, 1943, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Mary Joe was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord and lived her life in service to Him. She cherished her family and her church family. Her life was a testimony of love, kindness, and unwavering faith, and she now rests in the arms of her Savior.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Esther Grimes; husband of 61 years, Charles Wisdom; children, Terry Wisdom, and Tina Lewis; siblings, Jean Dewberry, Adine Buckner, Dorothy Sullivan, Dolly Webb, Buddy Voan, and Charles Wilburn Voan; son-in-law, Robert Alexander; and grandson, Michael.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Alexander and Tracy (Lisa) Wisdom; grandchildren, Michelle (David), Megan, Travis, Steven (Brittany), Nick, Sheridan, Taylor, Hannah, Jacob, and Zane (Hannah); 12 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Melanie Hill; sisters-in-law, Brenda Sheridan, and Wanda Johnston; and son-in-law, Heath Lewis.

A funeral service will be at 12:00p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas with burial to follow at Rest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the funeral home.
