Maurice Lamar Harris, 48, of North Little Rock, Arkansas was born November 30, 1975 to Dianne Lynn Simmons Harris and Eugene Harris, Sr., at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines.

He professed a hope in Christ at an early age at 12th Street Church in Caruthersville, Missouri. Maurice was well liked and a 1994 graduate of North Pulaski High School. He served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He was a quiet and loving person, but made friends everywhere he went. He always had a smile for you.

Maurice was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 21, 2024. He was joining those to preceded him in passing, his mother, Dianna Harris; 2 brothers, Eugene Harris, Jr., and Cedric Harris; and sister, Vanessa Harris Fulton.

Those left to cherish his memories are his father, Eugene Harris, Sr (Marietta Peterson), of Jacksonville, Arkansas; brother, Dewayne (Shawnteria) Harris; nieces and nephews, Monique Harris, Kiara Fulton, Andrè Williams, Jr., Daegan Harris, Addison Harris, and Dallas Harris; grand-nieces and nephews; cousins; and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Arkansas with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the funeral home.
