Mike Surber, 68, of Jacksonville passed away March 3, 2023. He was born November 28, 1954 in Ashdown, Arkansas to the late Arthur Elmer Surber and Vera Pauline (Stewart) Henson. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Surber, and sister-in-law, Deborah Surber. Mike enjoyed being outdoors and was a proud body repair man for many years. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish the memories of Mike include his daughters, Charlotte Devoe and Michelle (David) Brown; grandchildren, Juli (Jeremy Burt) Hernandez, Victor Hernandez Jr., McKenzie Taykowski, and MaKayla Brown; great-granddaughter, Arielle Burt; siblings, Jean (David) Foster, Mary (Larry) Sellers, and Randy Henson; nieces, Kristin Foster and Wendy Sellers; and nephews, Craig (Tina) Sellers and Braden Lewis.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, 12:00 -2:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Mike will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
