Mildred Vaughn, 93, of the Macon community, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022. Mildred was born Tuesday, November 13, 1928 in Maben, Mississippi to the late J.R. and Estelle Bright Fulgham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Pete" Vaughn and siblings, Gwendolyn Wise, Durrell Fulgham and Carole Arnold.

Mildred is survived by her children, Larry Vaughn (Geneva), Robbie Hargrove and Gary Vaughn, all of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; siblings, Jean Gammill of Georgia, Johnnie Gammill of Mississippi, Billie Richardson of California and Sandra Tucker of Texas as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 501-982-2136.
