Milton Dorsey Grooms III, age 63 of Cabot passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at home. He was born June 29, 1960, in Los Angeles, California to the late Milton Dorsey Grooms II and Barbara Frostrom Grooms. In 1978, he graduated from John Muir High School in Pasadena, California, where he still holds records in tennis. Mr. Grooms has been employed the past 15 years with Rental Concepts (RNR) as the Regional Accounts Director. On August 21, 2012, he married Teresa Holloway in Little Rock. Milton was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints.

Milton is survived by his wife, Teresa Grooms, whom he loved and cherished for 28 years; seven children, Javon Grooms of Cabot, Kaila Grooms and Kevin (Cassie) Jones, both of Las Vegas, Nevada, Christian Grooms of Searcy, Myloreal (Ria) Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia, Joshua Nolley of Cabot, Kasson Austin of Cabot; fourteen grandchildren; five siblings, Brianne Grooms and  Rachel Grooms, both of Jacksonville, Dwayne Aalseth-Grooms of Maumelle, Lisa Terry and Kimberly (Richard) Webb, both of Monrovia, California; stepmother, Odessa Grooms of Pine Bluff; special brother, Kevin (Celesta) Dixon Sr. of Jacksonville; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Milton Dorsey Grooms Sr. and Margaret Lee Young; grandparents Millard and Dixie Frostrom; stepmother Ramona Grooms; and sister-in-law Shelia Aalseth.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Brother Tim Baize officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. (501) 982-2136.
