Nancy Genell Lee, 84, of Jacksonville passed away October 19, 2022. She was born the eldest girl of nine children on May 2, 1938 in Derry, New Mexico to the late Howard L. and Irene Haddox. In addition to her parents, Nancy was welcomed into Heaven by her husband of fifty-six years, James A. Lee II; her son, Phillip Kevin Lee Sr.; three brothers; and two sisters.

Nancy spent her life putting God and family first, being a good example of what a wife and mother should be. Her kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish the wonderful memories of Nancy include her children, James III (Leisa), Stephen Michael (Dianne), Kenneth Scott (Cathy), and Nancy Doreen Lee; three grandchildren, James IV, James Michael, and Phillip Kevin Lee Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Summer Lee, Autumn Lee, and Teresa Watts; one brother, David (Donna) Haddox; two sisters, Mildred McCullough, and Susan Fiske; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
