Nilvah Lorene Moore-Brown, 91, our angel on Earth went home on September 30, 2022. She was born January 16, 1931 in Onia, Arkansas to the late Edmond E. and Rhoda Delma (Sutterfield) Moore. In addition to her parents, Lorene was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her husband, Raymond F. Brown; and sisters, Norma Quinn and Nelda May.
"Grandma", as she was lovingly referred to, was employed by and a lifelong member of the Marshall Road Baptist Church. Everyone whom had the pleasure of having Grandma in their lives was better for it. She was loved by all and those who knew her were truly blessed.
Those left to cherish the beautiful memories of Lorene include her daughters, Regina (Brent) Montgomery and Renee (James) Hutt; grandchildren, Amber (Chad) Adhlers, Jessica (Brad) Dennis, David (Cathy) Wallies; great-grandchildren, Justin, William, Jim, Adam, Joel, Alicia, Lilith, and Corbin; four sisters, one brother; and many beloved step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the funeral home. Lorene will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Park next to her late husband following the service. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.
