Noel Hensley Scott, 76, of Jacksonville passed from this life on March 20, 2024. He was born April 28, 1947 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Marion Ellis Scott and Sallie Ellen (Hensley) Scott. Mr. Scott was a veteran of the United States Air Force. After his service in the armed forces, he was employed by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Jacksonville where he served as a deacon for many years. In addition to his parents Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Scott; grandson, Brandon Scott; siblings, Carol Craig and Leon Scott.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Scott; children, Bryan Scott (Karla) of Maumelle, Wade Scott (Denise) of Furlow, Esther Kamm (Chris) of Cabot; grandchildren, Jasmine Hale (Charles), Collyn Scott (Shady), Julia Scott and Alan Scott. Other survivors include sister, Lora Shearin (Jeff) of Virginia along with a host of step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and dearly loved friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00am, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
