Pearl Dee Defoe, of Romance, Arkansas passed away November 23, 2020. She was born in Greenbrier, Arkansas to the late Austin and Margie (Green) Tucker on January 15, 1929. Pearl was known for being fiercely independent. Even at the age of 91, she lived and took care of herself with minimal assistance- although she did have her car privileges revoked a few years back and was NOT happy about it. "Pearl and her three daughters" as they were affectionately known, enjoyed antique/junk shopping together on the weekends. She could never pass up a good deal when she found one and was a frequent visitor of the local Goodwill. Above all else, Pearl adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved spending time with them as much as possible. In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Defoe and her siblings, Mary Skinner, Otis Tucker, Kenneth Tucker, and Guy Tucker.
Those left to cherish Pearl's memory include her three daughters, Margie (Danny) Boren, Donna (Donald E.) Meredith and Linda Defoe; her grandchildren, Jonathan Boren and Jeff Bailey; step-grandchildren, Missy (Larry) Silverman and Alecia Golden; great-grandchildren, Jacob Boren, Mason (Mikaela) Bailey and Liam Bailey; step-great-grandchildren, Leah Silverman, Haley Golden, Max Golden and Chance Golden, as well as several nieces and nephews.
