Phillip Adams Tracy, M.D., 76, of Jacksonville, passed away at his home on April 7, 2025.
Phil was born February 7, 1949 and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Leon Tracy Jr. and Mary Sue Adams. He is survived by one sister, Leslie Swinford of Hot Springs; nephew Justin Swinford; and niece Erin Hampton.
After graduating from Hendrix College, he earned his medical degree from UAMS in Little Rock. He served his community as a family practice physician in Jacksonville for over 37 Years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed going to concerts, race day at Oaklawn, traveling, and watching the Razorbacks. He loved movies, telling jokes, sharing stories, and the music of his lifetime.
He married Peggy Jo Swim, of North Little Rock in January 1977 and together they celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this year. He is survived by Peggy, as well as their three children, Matt (Rachel) Tracy, of Fayetteville, Scott (Katrina) Tracy of West Little Rock, and Neil (Julie) Tracy, of Elm Springs; and six grandchildren, Penelope, Hank, Daniel, Ezra, William, and Amelia. Phil was a dedicated husband, father and very blessed grandfather.
At his request, there will be no funeral service. The family will host a celebration of his life in May.
