Jacksonville
Prescilla P. Elliott, 73, of Jacksonville went to the Lord on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, 2022. She was born May 25, 1949 in Catubig Samar, Philippines to the late Pedro and Julia Pencalin. She graduated from Butler County College in 1986, and graduated in 1989 from California State University San Bernardino, California with a bachelor's Degree in Business. Prescilla married the love of her life, Max, on September 2, 1970. She was an avid lover of God and the Catholic Church.
Prescilla was a born businessperson and lived a life full of excitement, accomplishments, and business ventures. She started the Mean Pig Barbeque in Cabot, Arkansas. After selling that business, she opened Travel One in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was the first Mary Kay Sales Director in Arkansas, and her last business was a gift store within the Base Exchange until it was time to retire. She did all this and wanted to do more with loving husband, Max.
Her second love was travel. She has travelled all over the world, including Mexico, Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia, as well as Japan and Canada. Prescilla went to all the Islands in the Caribbean and lived in Puerto Rico for three years while her husband was stationed at the Ramey Air Force Base. She has traveled to all fifty states in the United States of America, with forty-eight by RV. Prescilla enjoyed RVing to visit her son, Max, and his family in Houston, Texas. She also did several trips to Florida, and has visited numerous National Parks throughout America.
Prescilla is survived by her family that she adored, which includes her husband for fifty-two years, Max Elliott; son, Max (Olga) Acosta; granddaughters, Bianca and Sophia; brother in laws, David (Laura) and George (Christine); as well as several nieces and nephews.
